An agreement has been reached to open cinema theaters in Kerala. Vijay's Tamil film Master will be released for the first time. Jayasurya starrer Vellam will be released on the 22nd. The theater will be open but the second show is not allowed and only half the seats will be open. The show runs from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Meanwhile, the state government has decided to waive the entertainment tax on cinema theaters for three months from January to March and to reduce the fixed charge of electricity by 50% during the ten months that theaters are closed.
